The hotel’s pub shows major sporting events and live horse racing over 2 large HD screens. There can be evening entertainment with live music and performers at weekends. The restaurant offers home-made food made of locally sourced ingredients, and the menu features specialities such as Haddock & Chips, steak & ale pie and Pollo Con Queso. Guests can also enjoy a hearty breakfast served daily.
Humberside Airport is just 7-minute drive and local taxi services are available upon request. Both Scunthorpe and the seaside town of Grimsby/Cleethorpes are 20 minutes’ drive away.
In our restaurant, the main menu is available during lunch times 12-2pm & 5.30-8.30pm Mon-Sat. Sundays we serve our Sunday menu which includes a Sunday roast with the choice of 3 meats and a few other dishes from our main menu 12-3pm. Weekdays here at the Whistle and Flute, Mon-Fri lunch 12-2pm we serve our lunchtime special smaller option menu, choose 2 courses for £12.95 or 3 courses for £16.95.
